How long does the session last?
The Mai-Tri session itself lasts approximately 30 minutes. In total, make yourself available for about an hour, given the time for introduction and talk after the session, as explained in the Mai-Tri techniques (page link)
What should I do during the session?
Throughout this process keep your eyes closed and stay in a relaxed position, usually lying down on your back. If you are at home, it should be a place without noises and disturbances, so that you can relax completely. Use the toilet before your session so that you are able to lie down comfortably.
Can I do something else during the session, e.g. driving?
It is not recommended to do any activity during the session. In order to get the maximum benefit of the Mai-Tri session, the best is to stay relaxed, lying down on your back during the session.
What if I feel like crying during the session, is it bad?
During or after the session, cleansing effects may happen and crying is one of them. If emotions come up, do not suppress them, allow yourself to flow and let them go.
During the session, I had many sensations, is it normal?
Some people are more sensitive and have many sensations during the session (e.g. feeling cold or hot, or having some sensations in specific parts of the body), while others do not experience these sensations. Both are fine and it is individualistic, and it may vary in each session. However, effectiveness of the Mai-Tri method can not be measured by the intensity of sensations that the client had during the session.
I haven’t felt anything during the session. Does it mean that the Mai-Tri did not work on me?
Not feeling anything during the session is not a sign that Mai-Tri did not work. As explained in the previous answer, the effectiveness of the Mai-Tri method can not be measured by the intensity of sensations that the client had during the session.
When can I expect results?
Mai-Tri Method works in accordance with the karmic laws – healing happens as much as karmically allowed. The client’s receptivity, faith, and intention for healing will make this process effective.
Why is it charged?
The Practitioner receives energy exchange from the client in order to avoid any possibility of karmic binding, 50% of which goes towards feeding the hungry beings. This helps maintain utmost purity in this process. It also shows respect to the practitioner, Mohanji and Tradition of Liberation.
Is it fine to chant while the session is going on?
During the session, it is best to relax completely and allow the energy to flow. So chanting can be done before or after the session, but not recommended during the session.
My mind was wandering during the session, should I try to focus on something?
It is the nature of the mind. Do not resist, allow the thoughts to come and go. However, you can focus on your breathing (deep abdominal breathing) which can help you to relax.
I think I fell asleep during the session, is that fine?
Yes, it is fine.
A part of me felt cold and another part warm.
While energy balancing is happening in your system, different sensations may occur, including feeling hot or cold, or both.
I couldn't move my hands or legs.
During the session, there is abundant energy flow with deep cleansing. This may sometimes not allow you to move your hands or legs as those areas may be cleared of certain existing blocks.
How many sessions would I need?
Number of sessions is individualistic and the Mai-Tri practitioner would guide you after the session. Usually,for first-timers, 3-5 sessions are recommended, with at least one week in between the sessions. The client’s receptivity, faith, and intention for healing will make this process effective.
Is it ok to connect to my Guru during this session?
Mai-Tri practitioners and Mohanji always respect the free will of the person, so the client does not necessarily need to be a Mohanji follower. However, be aware that The Mai-Tri practitioner connects directly to the source – Mohanji’s Consciousness. This connection to Mohanji’s consciousness, the unlimited source of energy, ensures protection to both the client and the practitioner during the process so that energies which are not benevolent can not interfere. Many people connect to their master/guru during the session to relax and receive the energy with faith.
Is it ok to get up in the middle of the session?
In order to get the maximum benefit from the Mai-Tri session, it is better to stay relaxed during the session. Getting up or walking (e.g. to the toilet) only if absolutely necessary.
Why does my feet burning?
Some people experience a sensation of burning in the feet. it is normal as it indicates that warm energy is flowing through you and helps in grounding to the Earth.
Can I sleep on the side?
During the session, it is best to remain relaxed lying down on your back or in a seated position with the spine straight (for short Mai-Tri session), in order to allow the smooth flow of energy. Other options are fine only If this is not possible due to the physical/health reasons (e.g. injury, hospital).
